I had to travel back to Doha with my newborn in 2009 April. I applied for her passport in tatkal. The agent charged me about 6-7k. When I asked him for a bill, assuming this was for his services, he said it was a bribe to the passport office. A lady whose name I can't remember right now. But she was booked for corruption a few months after.
If I had known I was paying a bribe, I would have at least created a ruckus when I went to ********** her at the PP office to get the clearance.
