Traffic Police openly robbing poor fruit-sellers (cops turn conmen)

I recall this incident a few days back witnessed in T. Nagar (Ranganathan Street). The patrol beat constables (two in number) openly picked up a few apples from the roadside hawker store and put in their basket. He was asking his colleague how many apples he needs.

After making good booty, he chased the fruit seller off the area on the pretext that he was obstructing traffic.
