Bribe for electronics goods

I was carrying 2 laptops, 3 Digital Cameras and 1 Camcorder. Custom officer threatened me that I have to pay 40000 INR as custom duty. I told him that I do not have that much of money with me. Then he asked me to pay 200$ bribe and he will let me go. I negotiated and we settled on 100$. It is normal on any international airport in India. They took bribe in foreign currency.
