Bribing at Airport

Reported on October 24, 2011 from New Delhi , Delhi  ι Report #3659

I was visiting my friends in New Delhi. When I was returning to Canada at the airpot the officer at the counter started rubing his fingers my photo on my passort (Canadian Passport)and kept looking at me. Finally he asked me if it was a fake passport, or a real one. I asked him if he was joking. He said he was serious. I told him let me go or I would miss my flight. He told me to give some dollars he would let me go. I had no cash on me. I gave him $5 worth of Canadian Tires bills. He was very happy, thanked me and let me go.
Note: Canadian Tires bills are kind of discount copoun that are used only in Canada in Canadian Tires stores only.
