Despite all the hype about corruption,no change in mindset of babudom

I paid a bribe !! It has been a long time since I visited personally a Govt dept,and I thought in the backdrop of the ********** and Baba movements, things would have changed for the better.Visited Central Excise dept for some paper work,and was surprised to see that there has been no change in the mindset of the officers working there ! Had to grease my way thru from the sepoy upwards to get the work done. Well,I know I am equally guilty,but the alternative would have been to waste almost a month waiting for the paperwork to be completed !!!!!!!!!!!
