No customs duty on anything you buy from abroad.. Only BRIBE..

I had bought a tv from abroad and was told by many friends and relatives that all you have to do with the customs authority was just bargain till 30%-40% of the actual customs duty.. And wow..!!! I managed at 40%..

While I know that it was wrong on my part more than those officers part.. Still if there was a system where bribes were impossible, that would have been wonderful..
