Paid bribe to get the TV from customs

One of the major corruption is taking place in Bangalore International Airport Customs. I have witnessed and experienced the same. I was asked to pay 50,000 as duty and I was made to wait for more than 2 hours. At the end the 'agent' settled the matter for 20000. 10000 as duty and 10000 as bribe for the superintendent. I was asked to shut my eyes and ears after that. I saw at least 6-8 agents carrying out indirect bribe works for the passengers. They threaten the passengers to pay huge duty and the matter will be settled with part bribe and part duty. In my case, I was not supposed to pay more than 15000 as duty.
