I had my personal SLR which I was bringing to India...I explained to the office that I am here just on vacation and i would be returning with the same SLR back...and I had all the purchase documents..yet the personnel at customs on mumbai airport asked me for bribe..i had to withdraw money from the ATM located at the airport...perhaps the atm is located for the very same reason..the officers including thesenior officers harassed me throwin all my luggage...all my clothes were scrambled by this folks and even afterthat the constable took about 13000 rupees and harassed me asking me to purchase duty free liquor for all the officers...
