This transaction occurred in Goa, at the border before entering Karnataka. An officer boarded the sleeper bus of which I was travelling in and was asking for alcohol permits. As tourists we were unsure as to how many alcohol bottles we can bring in exempt of tax so when an officer found our 1 litre alcohol bottle, we paid a bribe of 100 rs. No receipt was given.
