Customs for OLD SLR camera

I have payed Rs 2000 for my one year old SLR camera,

Officer asked me to pay Tax for my camera, i said sir this is one year old camera , then he calculated and told me you have to pay Rs 6000 after 10% of depreciation value for one year . (The price of the camera is Rs 35000)


I dont have Rs 6000 that time , so i told i doesnt have that much money. then he asked me to pay Rs 2000 .
He didnt gave receipt after i payed 2000 also.
