We were carrying a Gold coin which one of my friend wanted me to hand over to her brother. I know according to rules those stayed for six months are entitled carry certain amount of gold back to India without taxes. I have explained the officer the same and she was taking different sections and wanted me to pay tax of Rs.3000 - 5000. The lady is happy to accept $20 bribe and let me carry it with me after a lot of discussion. I realized that I am back in India just after landing. Irony to this is I smiled at an employee casually and he was asking me money for "Chai". I realized smiling at a Govt. employee is also taxing in the country
