I have to pay US$150 as a bride to India Customs to let my stuff in.

• Customs, Excise and Service Tax
• Customs Check and Clearance

I am a Chinese. And I provide technical services for some India manufacure like Bluestar, **********,etc. I help India to develop the manufactures. And for the job, I have to take some small protable facility with me. When I was in Mumbai international airport the custom office, I showed that the facility was old and used, and provided the inviation letter, equipment list to the officer to explain my trip and told them that I would take them back to China if finish the job. Based on my experience when I was in a lot of countrie, normally customs will let you go if your explations is reasonable. But India Customs officer asked me to pay a huge tax for that or pay him a bride. I had to pay US$150 for that. I put the money in the passport and the officer checked my passport and took off the money quickly. And it is not only one guy action, it is a group action. At least 3 officers watched it and one soldier to help to change the cash.
As a foreignor, I have to say it is India Shame. I am India's friend and India can not deal with me.
