Ipad not allowed to be brought in india

I was harrassed at Mumbai airport by custom official for bringing my personal ipad and camera. I was about to take the camera and ipad back with me as it was personal used item. I have taken them back with me. But the custom officer asked for 7000 Rs, did not take credit card. He wanted money from debit card. He hold me up at airport. Finally he asked for 1500 Rs. I paid that money to a havaldar in the locker room. Shame on mumbai custom officers for harrassing normal passengers.
