I was returning from USA after my studies and had bought a camera as a gift, I was asked by the custom official to give something and he would not let me go. I asked if the duty is more I will take it back to USA and asked him to tag it in my passport. He refused to do it and simply kept on wasting time. He knows that people have been traveling for so long and would give anything to get out of the situation. I had to finally give up and pay him Rs 1000 to let me go.
I regretted this that I had to pay bribe but I am really dis appointed to the level of corruption.
I wish all the best for ********** and his team to keep up the fight against corruption.
