I was coming back from working country back to India and I had a OLD DSLR cam which was almost 1 year old, it was seen in scanner and everyone shouted here here.....i went and i said its pretty OLD and its my personal which i am gonna take back when i go back again, he said nothing and said DUTY gonna be Rs 3500, same story was going on next counter, I suppose we can carry an old or personal Cam without paying any DUTY (Not Sure), I did not like and asked him i would pay the whole money he should make a reciet, I showed him my card and said charge it, he said can not accpet card (Bull ********** how can i have indian curreny when I am out for 1 year), and he never told me than I can pay in bank nearby....and then he asked how much u have, and I feel so bad I had to settle the things at USD50, as thats the only thing I had.
It is shame for me as well that i paid, but as I know that i can pay duty at bank I am not gonna pay even a single Penny to the currupted Guy Representing India at the *******
