I am an expat from Europe, I moved to Chennai for my company for work for a few years. My household goods arrived in the Port of Chennai. I was told I could get my stuff out of customs in a day, if I paid an "expediting fee" or wait for weeks, and hope my container was not robbed. My shipping agent advised me to pay it, so i did, and i got my stuff the next day.
